It's been an honor to serve TISD students and staff alongside Tina for the last 10+ years. She makes a great partner to create the best community.

I have known Tina for years. First as a very active parent volunteer at TES, then as the parent of a student, I had the pleasure of teaching, and finally as a friend. She has always been more than supportive. I appreciate her willingness to roll up her sleeves and do what needs to be done. Know that if she commits to doing something she will move mountains to try to get it done.

I haven't seen anything that Tina couldn't do, fix or come up with a plan for.

I have watched her serve and lead many events through my 15 years here in Tomball!  She is the hardest working lady I know, loves and serves our church and community selflessly, and goes above and beyond! I have known and worked with Tina for many years. Serving on both SPO and various church functions. I have personally observed Tina lead by example, make hard decisions with forethought and grace, and always do the right thing. Her work has made a positive difference in my children’s life and I have no doubt she would be a strong and courageous advocate for the students, parents, and teachers if elected to the TISD school board.

It is my great pleasure to endorse Mrs. Tina Salem for Tomball I.S.D. School Board. I came to know Tina initially in 2016 when our children were classmates in middle school. At that time, she was actively involved in the parent organization. In about 2018 our paths crossed again when my daughter became an active youth member of Church 1:37 here again Tina was actively involved. During the preceding years, I got to know Tina more intimately through her church involvement and as president of the Class of 2022 Senior Parent Organization. She has inspired me, like so many, to serve our community when I was hesitant. What I have come to learn about Tina is that she is a woman of integrity at the highest level. She can engage and interact with people of all ages. She has the tools and skills to integrate creative solutions in any scenario, almost instinctively. Tina has displayed an unwavering commitment to guide our district in taking learning to a new level and has an undeniable emphasis on ensuring the students in Tomball I.S.D. be successful with the education afforded them through this system. I know that Tina has passed up opportunities to exercise her vast skillset by joining the workforce over the last several years, but instead, she chose to serve our community. She is a strong manager, leader, communicator, negotiator, and is highly analytical. Tina’s personal experience with the Tomball School System will suit her will in a seat on the School Board as she is armed with familiarity of core operational functionality. And as a parent of three former TISD students, who are all on to very bright and successful futures, she has a vast knowledge of the learning community. She also has a talent to impact improvement and the ability to drive and challenge philosophy with a positive influence; and where needed - she is positioned as an agent for change. As a mother herself, and like a second mom to so many, she insists that student safety is handled with high regard. She is a role model and a positive influence with attributes I aspire to. As a woman of strong faith and unwavering convictions, she is an advocate for what is in alignment with high moral standards and values. Tina is an important asset to the Tomball Community and can only become more effective utilizing her tools in a journey to facilitate a focus on student learning. I know she will work hard to earn the trust and restore stability with school district administrators, educators, support staff, the student body and our entire community.

I met Tina my daughter’s Sr. Year at THS. From the first Sr. Parent Organization meeting I attended I immediately knew she had the support and motivation to make that an awesome year for our Seniors. People there were clapping at the announcement that she would lead us while she humbly acknowledged the willingness to assume the position for the sake of our kids. Over monthly SPO meetings - often with little attendance- Tina stayed positive and committed that our THS Sr. Class would have an amazing Sr. year full of memorable activities. I saw firsthand how Tina pours her heart and soul into something she believes in. She will stop at nothing to see a goal through to the finish. She is creative with resources. She’s smart, financially savvy and a great motivator. She has a caring heart for our kids and wants the very best for them! I have rarely seen someone give it their all the way she does. With Tina, what you see is what you get! And what you get is an amazing choice for leading THS!

Tina and I have known each other for years through the school system. She has advocated for the teachers and students by listening to their needs and doing what’s best for them. She has been involved with the Tomball school system for over 20 years and served in many roles. She wants others to understand her approach to certain situations by upholding her morals and values while dealing with issues and carrying out her duties to her best ability. I trust that Tina is true to her word and would be an asset to our community.

Tina Salem is the only candidate for TISD position 1. She is a native of Tomball whose 3 amazing children all graduated from THS. I met Tina 12 years ago when she was serving on a PTO team. Ever since I have known her, she has been selflessly serving TISD in some form or fashion. She has inspired parents to join boards for numerous activities for students, teachers and parents. She is a rallier of people and a woman of her word! I am proud to call her friend and know that she will be instrumental in keeping our Tomball the way it is!

I am truly thankful for all the many years Tina has volunteered in our schools. She works long and hard to help make our schools the best they can be. She is the strong conservative voice that we need to keep our schools safe and on the right path.

As a teacher and parent who raised two kids in our amazing Tomball school district, I fully endorse Tina Salem to move us forward while holding on to Tomball values. As a parent, Tina was dedicated and passionate about her child’s education and growth while fully supportive of his teachers.
